  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 onion (Large sized, chopped)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • peppers (A handful of color, optional)
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, or frozen ones)
  • 2 tablespoons sambhar powder
  • cilantro leaves (for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup cheese (grated Jalapeno, optional)
  • 2 stems spring onions (for garnishing, optional)

    Directions

    1. Boil the rice and keep it aside.
    2. Heat Oil in a pan and saute the chopped onions, jalapeno peppers, color peppers until the onions become golden brown.
    3. Then add the fresh corn kernels and keep sauteing them.
    4. Once the corn become tender, which they will very quickly, add the sambhar powder and stir them until the raw flavor of the spice powder goes off. For about 5-6 minutes.
    5. Then add the rice and toss them until they are coated well. Check for the seasoning and turn off the stove.
