  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon yeast
  • 6 tablespoons milk (at room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 7 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 5/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon (powdered)
  • 3/4 cup walnuts (crushed)

    Directions

    1. Mix all of the ingredients for “Mixture 1” together. Once everything is completely mixed, place the dough in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let the dough sit in room temperature for 12 to 24 hours.
    2. Mix all of the ingredients for “Mixture 2” together with a wooden spoon. Once everything is completely mixed, place this mixture in a separate bowl as well and place it in the refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours.
    3. Cover a table or tray with flour, take both mixtures out and cut the dough from both of the mixtures into small loafs.
