  • 2 pizza doughs (pre-made)
  • 1/2 pound provolone (grated or chopped)
  • 1/2 pound mozzarella (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • olive oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves (smashed but still intact for easy removal.)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasonings
  • kosher salt

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 550 and place a stone on bottom if you have one. Roll and or Spread out each dough onto a piece of parchment that is on a pizza pan, a peel, or flat cookie sheet (turned upside down works great!). Cut off any excess pieces that are hanging out or else they will burn. You don't need the parchment but it will make the sliding in and out of the oven a bit easier.
    2. Prepare the garlic butter by melting the butter in a small pan along with the smashed garlic, remove from heat and after 15 minutes remove the garlic and add the seasonings, salt, and pepper. Taste to see if it needs more salt.
    3. Brush the butter on each pizza. Add Parmesan, provolone, and then mozzarella. Drizzle on a little olive oil.
    4. Slide the pizza along with the parchment onto the stone OR place the pan in the oven along with the parchment if you do not have a stone and bake for 7-10 minutes. it should be golden and crispy!
    5. Add more Parmesan and slice and serve.
