    First time out I overcooked my lentils a bit, but the texture was still good. You get a lovely crispy nummy crust on the outside after frying! The basic recipe lacks flavour, but that's no big issue because you can chuck whatever you like in there. I'd up the quantity of apricots and nuts a bit and stick in a wack of salt, pepper and curry powder (or other seasonings). Consider this the blank canvas.
