  • 1/2 chipotle pepper (smoked)
  • 1 egg

  • 10 ounces canned tuna
  • 1/2 cup string cheese (shredded)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    2. Place the slices of bread inside a baking dish.
    3. Add the tomato sauce, chipotle pepper, egg, and a pinch of salt and black pepper) to a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth. Pour this mixture onto the bread.
    4. Add a layer of tuna onto the bread, and then a layer of cheese onto the tuna. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
    5. Remove the dish and allow it to cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with slices of avocado on top, if desired.
