  • 1 pound pork (butts- slice in thin strips)
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil (for deep frying tofu)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for stir frying)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (finely)
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger (finely)
  • 2 teaspoons black bean sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 inches green onions (cut in about ½ long, green parts only)
  • 3 chili pepper (dried)
  • 2 inches small tomatoes (sliced by 1 thick)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry sherry (or rice cooking wine)
  • 1 can chicken broth (about 14 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons catsup
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 4 teaspoons corn starch
