  • 1/4 cup Smucker’s Natural Strawberry Fruit Spread
  • 4 slices crusty Italian bread
  • 4 slices pepperjack cheese (deli-style)
  • 1/2 pound smoked ham (thinly sliced deli-style)
  • 1 slice red onion (separated into rings)
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

    Directions

    1. HEAT panini press or large skillet over medium heat. Spread fruit spread evenly on one side of 2 bread slices. Layer each with 1 slice cheese, ham, red onion rings and remaining cheese. Spread mustard on remaining bread slices. Place on top of cheese, mustard side down, to make a sandwich.
    2. BRUSH tops of sandwiches generously with olive oil. Turn and brush bottoms with remaining olive oil. Place sandwiches in panini press or skillet. Cook about 6 to 8 minutes or until both sides are golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut in half diagonally.
