  • 3 garlic
  • 6 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 800 grams crushed tomatoes (or whole tomatoes, chop them up roughly)
  • 4 tablespoons olives (green seedless, roughly chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder (mild, use more if you like it SPICY)
  • 1/3 cup red wine (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • 2 cups greens (around 1 large handful- it doesn't matter too much kale, chopped up, spinach, broccoli florets- whatever you feel like.)
