    My 4th attempt at trying to make a decent cookie using different recipes and this is the best one I’ve made so far

    Very nice!! Texture was perfect. I used 1 tea spoon of vanilla not 2. And 50g of one sugar, 80g of the other as read this recipe was sweet! Can see how it would have been if i didn’t change the ingredients. 11 mins in the oven no longer for sure.

    I've tried the recipe twice (honey/golden syrup) and found that it is oddly sweet. Not super sweet, more like it was lacking any other feature, not sure if it was a lack of butter or flour. Definitely chewy and easy to make.
