It was really good, I added a little extra cumin to taste, and mixed things up; I made mine for breakfast with roasted potatoes and a single french toast with powdered sugar. Very delicous, too spicy for my kids though.

This was my first time making Shakshuka and I love all the ingredients, so it seems like a hit. I think I will modify this recipe & make it again. I felt like it needed more flavors. Perhaps I’ll add more veggies to the base sauce or something. It was very easy & quick to make.

This turned out pretty good. I made mine with 5 eggs so I reduced the spices slightly.

great. very rich with taste. will definitely make it again

Had to add quite a few pinches of sugar to reduce the acidity of the tomato sauce. The cumin was too dominant which made the dish taste a little bit too basic, probably needed more variety in seasoning.

So good! Next time I need to take the eggs off earlier so they are still runny. i added jalapenos to the garlic and onion mixture to up the spice factor!!

Kiera 24 Jun 2018

Awesome!!! Served over brown rice. it will be one of our go to recipes.

I loved it. Shakshouka is a great place to dice and use the last bits if all the veggies in the house - onions, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant - just saute it all and add the sauce and spices. I use the Syrian Spice mix from Nuts.com.

Outstanding!!! Perfect for brunch, especially for your vegetarian guests.
