  • 1 jackfruit (small raw, unripe)
  • 6 tablespoons coconut milk powder
  • 1 onion (chopped fine)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 2 green chillies (slit lengthwise)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (fresh, powder, optional)
  • 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • 1 clove
  • 2 sprigs fresh curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 400 milliliters water

    Directions

    1. 1.Dissolve 5 tbsp coconutmilk powder in 400ml warm water and keep this aside.
    2. 2.Cut the raw jack fruit into pieces- removing outer skin and inner foul parts.
    3. 3.Take a kadai or mud pot and add coconut oil,grated onion,grated ginger,crushed garlic,curry leaves,cinnamon stick and clove.Stir this till onion turn colour.
