Omg omg omg. Well ok. The first time I made these, they were pretty good. The second time I made them, they turned out so so amazing, it seriously feels like I am eating Almond Joy candy bars over here or something - or something more decadent than healthy. Now, I'm not sure if my changes made them unhealthy... But here goes. I used melted coconut oil for the 1/2 cup oil. This is where I'm wondering if the saturated fat is through the roof... But it made them amazing. I used dark cocao chunk-style chocolate chips. These were key. I also added a sprinkling of chia seeds. I added a sprinkling of coconut shreds. Then when they were done, I melted like a teaspoon of coconut oil with some chocolate chips and drizzled the mixture over the top. We went through them in like a day and a half.
