    This is a great and easy recipe. One can put it together quickly, once you get all your components together and very tasty. I used vanilla instead of anise and I also attempted chocolate as well. I used 1 cup of cocoa in place of one of the cups of flour.

    Turned out ok I like a little thicker cookie so I added a extra 1/2 cup of flour
