  • 3 1/2 ounces sirloin steak (lean)
  • 1 teaspoon sunflower oil
  • 1 pita bread (large)
  • 2 small tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons sun dried tomato paste
  • 5 mushrooms
  • 3 1/2 ounces broccoli florets
  • 1/4 yellow pepper (de-seeded and cut into chunks)
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella (diced)
  • cilantro leaves (to garnish)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the steak for 2 minutes.
    2. Place the pita bread on a baking sheet. Mix the tomatoes with the tomato paste and spread over the pita bread. Pile the meat, mushrooms, broccoli, pepper and mozzarella on top and bake for 8-10 minutes until hot through. Serve sprinkled with cilantro leaves.
