Really good flavor but as written, 3 cups is way too much chicken broth. I only needed 1.5 cups to make a smooth puree and it is still a bit thin and needed to thicken on the stove into a proper mole, it looked more like chile verde. Pistachios are a special touch but not worth the expense because the flavor doesn't come through. Would be equally delicious made with almonds or another nut or seed. Much easier recipe than some green moles, fewer ingredients but still great flavor. Fun to try, but would modify in the future.
