    Delicious. Swapped-out dark for milk chocolate, just to make them a bit sweeter could do with some crunch, like macadamias

    Was a quick bake before a my niece's birthday party so didn't have time to chill for long but they still came out perfectly. Mine didn't spread out at all really so I suggest if you want flat cookies you make smaller sized balls to start with. Also 15 minutes make them just a bit over the chewy stage but still lovely! Absolutely will make again!

    great recipe. quick and easy to prepare and have come out right every time. I roll mine into a clingfilm wrapped sausage and leave to chill in the fridge then cut it into circles as I want to bake. Brilliant results!

    Don't roll them into balls. Make a sausage about 2" diameter, just over a foot long, and let it rest for 2 hours+ (or overnight). Then slice it into discs about half an inch thick, and bake. They'll rise up with a nice edge, will still be soft in the middle but nicely cooked with a crisp outside. They won't spread much, they'll be just the right size.

    I agree they are too fat did mine plain as one of my family don't like things too chocolaty and put chocolate buttons on top .The outside is nice any crunchy but the middle too cake like not chewy like i expected.Don't think I'll be making them again.
    Used the recipe twice, it went very well both times. The only issue I had was that you have to chill the dough overnight -- cookies are an instant gratification kind of thing ya know

    The cookies came out too fat I thought the would flaten in the oven. They tasted ok however were not chewy enough. I would not make these again.

    AMAZING !!! I have been searching and trying all different kinds of recipe for the perfect cookie and this one is the closest to date !!! The taste is amazing and the crunch on it is perfect - about to bake some more now as the batch I made yesterday is already finished !!!!!! I just wish the inside could be abit chewy and than it would be bang on but not complaining at all I'm happy to keep this recipe as my go to !!
