    Turned out good but after 20 minutes rice was still a little undercooked. I used basil, oregano, garlic and onion salt instead of the Italian seasoning and 1/2 & 1/2 instead of the heavy cream turned out good everyone had seconds I’ll just cook rice longer next time.

    I added veggies to this (broccoli and yellow squash) recipe. Flavor was good, but wanted a bit of browning on the veggies before steaming them. Made this a second time and rice had to cook 30 minutes and had to much liquid, so put corn starch into the cream when I thickened it up.

    After reading the reviews I increased the spices, adding garlic and onion powder I also added broccoli. The result was good - not great. Basically it was very bland and boring I won’t make it again.

    The concept for this dish is good, but the spicing is off. I personally felt it needed something green, so I added broccoli which was fantastic. I also used about four times more spice than was recommended, added three garlic cloves, and a lot of onion powder. With those changes it came out fantastically, but I imagine it would have been incredibly bland without.

    It was amazing. I did add some extra spices though. Garlic and some black pepper really helped

    Creamy, cheesy, chicken flavored goodness! I added 1/2 onion and 4 small cloves of garlic while cooking the chicken and I use chicken bullion cubes (halal) because I haven’t found halal chicken broth yet... 1 cube of bullion for 1 cup of rice makes the broth very concentrated, more water for less concern flavor, for anyone cooking halal 😋 and because I used bullion I don’t need to add the extra salt at the end 👍🏻

    Tasted really good, based on review I added onions, garlic and a little white wine. I would defiantly make again, I may try without the heavy cream.

    Very tasty! I will definitely make this again. After reading some of the reviews, I added onion, and several cloves of garlic; sauteedthem and added to the chicken just before it finished cooking. I also used more chicken and doubled the mushrooms. I added 1/4 cup of dry white wine and used 2 1/4 cups of chicken broth.

    This recipe is delicious, quick and easy. I used 1 cup of royal mix rice and reduced the broth to 1 & 1/2 cups.

    Nice easy midweek dish. I sauted some onions before adding the chicken, used mushroom stock instead, swapped the cream at the end for milk and added some spinach... very savoury and comforting. Would probably make again as took no time at all.
    Great base recipe! I used a ton more mushrooms and added garlic powder. Next time I'll use fresh garlic. But this was awesome.
