  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 pounds red new potatoes (peeled and diced, I didn't bother peeling though)

  • 6 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 3 apples (cored and cut into 16 wedges each)
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries

    Directions

    1. In crockpot (at least 4-5 quart), combine the cider, dry soup mix, thyme and nutmeg.
    2. Stir to blend.
    3. Add potatoes, celery, green onions, apples and cranberries.
    4. Tuck the chicken down into the mixture.
    5. Cover and cook on low at least 8 hours, making sure the potatoes are tender.
