Added carrots, celery, and bean sprouts instead of green bell peppers. Was so good! Did not find recipe too salty, but I just adjusted ratios as needed

Okay, so I never follow recipes to the letter--that's a given. I added a thumb sized piece of fresh sliced ginger, 1 baby bok choy, thin sliced carrots, 1 cup thin sliced shitake mushrooms, big handful of pea pods and bamboo shoots for crunch. Traded out the low sodium soy for 1/2 cup dark mushroom soy, cut way back on the sugar and used only an 1/8th cup dark brown sugar, bumped up to 16 oz of ramen noodles. All in all I Pimped it up to a really tasty, couldn't-stop-eating-it dish. Try it--see if you like this version of it. And thanks again for the foundation and inspiration recipe!

This turned out really well. The only thing i changed was i halved the amount of sugar, and added more veggies. very yummy, definitely give this a try!

Great concept. All are good except that the beef left as it is without seasoning it or a quick dry marination prior to sautéing, browning did not taste as good. Or I should have sautéed it a bit w/ garlic and onions first. I also added some vegetables like cabbage and carrots.

Really good! I backed off on the salt since the directions indicate the sauce would be salty, but tasting it as I cooked it, I added more soy sauce and more broth to not have a dry dish. It wasn’t that salty to me (I have a high tolerance) but was a little salty to my husband (he’s salt sensitive). Have to remember that Mongolian is usually sweet. All in all it was good and I’d make it again.

Loved it! I don’t like raw green onion so I just tossed them in with the green peppers and sautéed them a few minutes Great taste! Sprinkled sesame seeds on at the end & I think next time I’ll add mushrooms.
