Fantastic! It snowed yesterday in Denver and the soup was the best. The whole family loved it and will have to make more!!!!

Excellent! Didn’t put in pinto beans just because I didn’t have any. Husband loved it as well.

One of my go-to recipes. I make it a couple times a month. I use a whole Costco rotisserie chicken instead of baking chicken in the oven. It works great.

Excellent! Fairly easy to make in spite of the long list of ingredient. Just the right amount of heat! The creaminess is a good balance to the jalapeños! Love it!

Absolutely amazing! Had family over and it was 100% eaten up by the end of the night! Added garbanzo beans

Perfect! Used a deli roasted chicken and left out the frozen corn, but otherwise followed the recipe. Will make again.

Awesomeness! We loved this soup it had the right heat, texture and wholesomeness . This recipe makes quite a few servings, so you’ll have plenty of leftovers! Will definitely make this again

Wonderful soup and having the toppings is a must! Helped change-up our usually family taco night.

My whole family devoured this. I wanted to use what I had on hand, so I mixed in half a box of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix. I didn't have pintos, and I only had 2 small chicken breasts. It would have been even better with more chicken.

Oh my goodness! I used a rotisserie chicken already cooked. I also used the ground corn tortillas in milk. Can I just say for this Texas Girl living in Australia lock down that I thought I was back home having Tex Mex. Thank you Martina for a winner.

Good, hearty soup. It is a bit plain though, so I added a lot of lime to it!

Great flavors, all enjoyed the dish and it was pretty easy to prepare, highly recommend!

This is fantastic!! You can adjust the heat to your family’s taste by skipping the jalepeno, adjusting chili powder, or by swapping regular diced tomatoes for the Rotel. It is absolutely a delicious soup—it won over the whole family!

Great recipe! It’s pretty much an upgraded chili. I personally left the broth cooking for a lot longer than what the recipe called for (like 30 minutes on simmer) just so that everything gets a nice flavor. I also didn’t add as much onions, just half of one. The last thing I changed was the tomatoes. She uses canned tomatoes in the recipe. I personally am not a fan of the taste so I chopped 4 fresh roma tomatoes and added them like that. All in all, I would make it again for sure.

Wow - this was brilliant!! Made this practically identical to the recipe except at the end used creme fraiche instead of sour cream, and used chicken thigh not breast... didn't have any avo so skipped the toppings (but recon it would be great so defs next time!) and used crushed/powdered nachos as suggested... might have added extra corn in too. Will make this again soon as so hearty and warming, think 8 portions is a bit optimistic (or we're greedy lol) did 4 dinner sized bowls and 2 lunch sized. Genuinely looked like the picture too for once!
EDIT: made again, toppings really make it!! Brilliant dish

This recipe turned out wonderful! It is especially perfect for our family because my husband is a vegetarian. I added the chicken to my portion of the soup and deleted it from my husband’s, making it meatless for him. Topped it off with extra avocado for him as well. We loved it! Five stars! Thank you Yummly!!!!

My husband is the tortilla soup guy and he thought it was very good. I actually corners by getting a chili citrus rotisserie chicken .

It was so good!! I can’t wait to make it again. I didn’t add the jalapeño because my fiancé and I don’t like it, and it was perfect.
