  • 1 onion (large, chopped)

  • 4 tomatoes (cut into wedges)
  • 2 cans coconut milk (or 1 can coconut milk and 1 can evaporated milk)

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 500 grams whole okra (or cut)
  • 1/2 cup tamarind juice (thick, from 3 tbsp of tamarind block with 1 cup water)
