  • 2 pasta (servings of uncooked, dry spaghetti)
  • 1 chopped ham (packed cup, 150g of)
  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped, I used garlic I finely chopped and froze in oil prior to making this recipe, but if you are using fresh garlic, simply chop it and add a splash of olive oil to fry it in)
  • 5 whole eggs
  • 1 cup pecorino romano (finely grated, or Parmigiano Reggiano, plus more for serving)
  • salt
