Description

This colorful Italian dish is filled with sweet carrots, tomatoes and mushrooms. The ground beef goes very well with the parmesan adding a nice texture t the dish. The cumin follows with a spicy peppery flavor.

  • 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 slice white bread
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • flour
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1 kilogram tomatoes
  • 100 grams mushrooms

    Directions

    1. In a bowl, add the ground beef, cheese, cumin, oregano, bread, egg, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix well.
    2. Form the meatballs using your palms and set aside.
    3. Coat the meatballs with a little flour and add them to oil in a skillet. Cook until browned on the outside. Remove from the heat and drain on paper towel.
