    This turned out great. I tweaked it the way I like with various seasonings, but overall this is a good recipe to start from.

    Amazing. I used Cajun spice instead of Creole, Andouille Smoked Sausage, and Horshoe Brand Cayenne Hot Sauce for final prep.

    I’ve made this about a dozen times so far, and for the most part this recipe is delicious. The flavors and combination of ingredients works well. However, the rice sinks to the bottom of the pot and sticks. Every. Time. By the time the 30 minutes are up, I’ve lost about 1/4 of the rice because it’s stuck the pot. Now obviously this could be user error.. however I think this recipe would work better if the rice was cooked separately. Still encourage people to try it, just cook the rice separate if you can.

    This was so yummy and very easy to make . Boyfriend loved it . I didnt add the bay leaf or hot sauce. It had its own kick without it.

    The aroma alone is enough to cause hunger pangs! I was lucky enough to have some Andouille sausage on hand and that greatly improved the authenticity of this dish. I'd also highly recommend a 1/4 tsp. of Cayenne pepper for some extra zip!

    Are you kidding! This recipe is awesome! I have made it probably about 4 or 5 times.. in the last 6 months. always delicious. Just watch not to overcook the rice.. no big deal however, if you do overcook the rice, it makes for a great stuffed pepper recipe!!!!!!!

    This recipe was outa sight! My children and my parents loved it! I used chicken Cajun Sausage instead of smoked sausage — a nice extra layer of flavor. And I added in some spinach just before the shrimp for extra veggies. It was a big hit. I will definitely make this again.
