  • 1 ciabatta loaf (sliced almost in half, leaving one side attached, and folded open)
  • 3 1/2 ounces smoked ham (sliced)
  • 2 ounces peppered salami (sliced)
  • 2 ounces milano salami (sliced)
  • 3 1/2 ounces mozzarella cheese (sliced)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 1 beefsteak tomato (sliced)
  • olives (to serve)

    Directions

    1. Pull out most of the soft bread inside and fill with layers of meats, cheese, fresh basil leaves, and tomato. Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil, replace the top and tie with string to compress filling.
    2. Wrap in wax paper and chill for up to 6 hours. Slice and serve with olives.
