  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound pork (boneless, very thinly sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 6 ounces green peas
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 package knorr hot & sour recipe mix
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cups regular or converted rice
  • 1 sliced green onions

    Directions

    1. Bring a little zen to your life...
    2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat and brown pork and red pepper, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Stir in snow peas, ginger and garlic and cook 1 minute.
    3. Stir in water, and next 3 ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pork is done, about 4 minutes.
    4. To serve, arrange rice in bowl and top with mixture. Sprinkle with green onion.
