Crispy chicken wings baked in the oven and coated in a sticky, sweet, and zippy honey-ginger sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 inch ginger root (knob of)

    Directions

    1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
    2. Place the honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl. Use the edge of a spoon to scrape the outer skin from the knob of ginger root and discard. Grate the flesh of the ginger into the mixing bowl. Whisk the honey ginger mixture to thoroughly combine.
    3. Place the chicken wings in the mixing bowl. Using a rubber spatula, toss the chicken wings to evenly coat in the honey-garlic glaze.
