    Great very tasty I took the meat of the bone, shredded it and then fried it and added the sauce at the end. Really good

    Instead of being served with rice I made homemade Bao Buns which went perfectly. Nicely flavoured chicken, I add a bit of lemon for a slight acidic taste.

    Amazing and the fact the whole family loved it is just incredible the only change I made was using chicken breasts.

    My family loved this so much that I made it again the very next night. My son is extremely picky about food, loved it and considers this dish one of his favorite now. I used chicken breast cut into small cubes and chicken stock. I added tons of broccoli and shredded carrots at the end. I only used 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes. I served it over baked brown rice. Delicious!!

    Made it tonight for tomorrow’s dinner! It is fantastic. I added more garlic than said. I also used chicken breasts because that’s what I had, and jasmine rice. My Japanese boyfriend loves it!

    Oh wow, this is one of the best dishes I cooked from Yummly. I didn't double the sauce like most people suggested, the chicken thighs weren't that big so I guess you have to judge it yourself. I also added red chilli to the sauce, it really lifted the whole dish. Served with salt & pepper chips. Lovely and will defo make again!

    I didn't have chicken thighs so I used 4 large chicken breasts and cut them into small pieces. I did double the sauce and I reserved a little to thicken it with cornstarch. I'm feeding a family with big appetites so I am serving with broccoli and rice and hoping we'll have enough. I also used coconut aminos instead of low sodium soy sauce and sprinkled some sesame seeds as a garnish. My version is probably sweeter than the recipie because soy sauce is more salty than the coconut aminos. This was pretty easy to pull together and very tasty.

    This recipe will certainly be in our normal rotation. My daughter is so picky and loved the chicken! I only used 6 chicken thighs because that all I needed and made the sauce as follows. There was plenty left over. My sauce needed extra time to thicken so I took the chicken out and put it in the oven on warm, then repeated the boil and simmer step. I served with Rice and Broccoli.
