  • 1 box refrigerated pie crust

    Directions

    1. Unroll each pie crust and square them off; cut them into equal size rectangles. I was able to get 6 pop tarts from what I cut out and then I rerolled the left over dough and was able to get 2 more.
    2. Place about 1 Tbs. of jam or preserve in the center of a rectangle and spread out, stopping just before the edge. Place another piece of dough on top and using a fork crimp the edges together and then the side of the fork create a seal around the perimeter of the pop tart.
    3. Place all of the pop tarts onto a well greased baking sheet and cook at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let them cool before glazing.
    4. When the pop tarts are ready to be glazed, mix the sugar with enough milk to make a semi thick glaze, spoon it over the top of each tart and sprinkle with the colored sugar.
