Tasty fried fishcakes served with a tasty dip of mustard and Hellmann's mayonnaise.

  • 350 grams mashed potatoes
  • 1 Hellmann''s Light Mayonnaise (dollop*)
  • 175 grams white fish (cooked)
  • 175 grams cooked smoked haddock
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard
  • 3 Hellmann''s Light Mayonnaise (dollops*)

    Directions

    1. Mix together the potatoes, fish, spring onions, mayonnaise and parsley.
    2. Shape the mixture into balls and flatten, dust in some seasoned flour and fry in the oil for 5 minutes (turning halfway).
    3. Mix the wholegrain mustard and mayonnaise together and serve with fishcakes.

    Nothing to shout about, but I did replace the mayo with some tartar sauce. Gunna try with breadcrumbs next time
