  • 6 chile peppers (Guajillo, washed and seeded)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 garlic clove (peeled)
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ground cumin

    Directions

    1. Roast the chile peppers on a frying pan until lightly toasted.
    2. Place the peppers in cold water and let them sit for 30 minutes, Drain and set aside.
    3. Add the peppers to a food processor with the garlic, vinegar, salt, and cumin. Puree until smooth.
    4. Place the sauce in a container and use it to marinade chicken, beef, or pork.
