Ingredients

  • 1 shallots (small)
  • 1 jalapeno chilies (quartered and seeded)
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • 1 tomatoes (seeded and chopped)
  • 1 avocado (peeled, seeded and cut into chunks)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (from half a lime)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves (loosely packed fresh, coarsely chopped)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds extra large shrimp (or large, peeled and de-veined)
  • 16 inches corn tortillas
  • 2 cups red cabbage (chopped, for garnish, I buy it pre-chopped in a bag)
  • 2 lime (cut into wedges, for garnish)
  • 1 cup sour cream (for garnish)
