I'm wuite disappointed in how it turned out. The consistency is more like a runny jelly than a crème brûlée consistency. Would recommend using less water than is indicated

Lemon filling didn’t firm up properly, despite a lot of boiling and plenty of cooling time after coming out of the oven. Will try again with 4 Tbsp corn starch and re-rate as 5 stars if that works.

So I totally messed this up and it was STILL good! Like, the entire pie was eaten during dessert. I’ll keep working on my pie crust making skills and will continue to make this. Yum!

Amazing! It reminded me of my own grandma’s recipe! Smooth, creamy, just the right amount of filling to blend I with the meringue

OMG! This pie was delicious! I made it exactly like the recipe. The filing was not too tart or too sweet. The meringue was nice and fluffy. This was my first attempt at making a homemade lemon pie and it turned out great.

I love this recipe. I found that you had to use more sugar while making the merengue. Overall a great recipe.
