  • 4 tablespoons clarified butter
  • 2 shallots (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 ounces mushrooms (sliced, may omit mushroms)
  • 6 ounces filets
  • 1/4 cup Irish whiskey
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • sea salt (to taste)
  • ground pepper (coarse)

    Directions

    1. Saute steaks in skillet with 1-2 tbsp. butter (or oil) til desired temp.
    2. Remove & keep warm. In same pan, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Saute shallots shortly then add the mushrooms and garlic.
    3. Cook until carmelized.
