Description

These beefy, cheesy, toasted sandwiches hit every button for what a French dip should be. Start with tender leftover meat and flavorful broth from Triple-Duty Instant Pot Pot Roast. Serve the hot broth in little bowls for dipping the melty cheese and beef sandwiches. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Ashley Strickland Freeman.

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven broiler with a rack set about 3 inches from the heat, or preheat a toaster oven on the top broil or toast setting.
    2. Combine pot roast and broth in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. Stir in parsley.
    3. Set hoagie rolls on a sheet pan with cut sides up and broil until golden, 1-2 minutes. (If using toaster oven, toast 2 rolls at a time.) Spread cut sides with butter. Set tops of sandwiches aside on a plate.
