  • 2 teaspoons corn oil
  • 1 onions (medium Size, peeled and chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (peeled and crushed)
  • 200 grams tomatoes (drained and chopped, 7oz)
  • 1 teaspoon herbs (Mixed)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato purée
  • 375 grams haricots verts (topped and tailed, 12oz)

    Directions

    1. 1. Heat the oil in a pan gently and soften the onion and garlic.
    2. 2. Add the tomatoes, herbs and tomato puree and simmer the sauce for 15 minutes.
    3. 3. Rinse the beans and boil them for 4 minutes in water, then drain them well.
    4. 4. Season the tomato sauce and toss in the beans.
    5. 5. Raise the heat for half a minute and then serve immediately.
