This turned out great, better than I expected. I was expecting a to a rich sauce but this was not overpowering. I had extra leftover and my toddler was requesting more sauce. I have so much sauce leftover that I can turn it into something else now.

Sauce was easy to make and very tasty. I added cayenne pepper for a little kick.

We made enchiladas with chicken, cheddar, green onions and black beans, with this sauce, it was amazing! I think the only change I made was using clubhouse Tex mex rather than straight chili powder.

I followed the recipe and my sauce was so salty. I had to dilute it with more tomatoe sauce and water 😓

Turned out fantastic! Nice and thick and the flavor was spectacular! Will definitely be making this again.
I used a little less chili powder and it was great!

This was easy to make, but I thought the taste was too mellow. The tomato sauce stood out too much. For the second batch, I added two more teaspoons of chile powder and doubled the other spices. This batch was delicious, without any ingredient overpowering the rest.

Never buy enchilada sauce from the can again, following this recipe is worth it for the flavor.

I didn't have chili powder... i ended up using taco seasoning and it worked great!

This turned out fantastic! Actually made more then enough sauce for what I usually use, so might double up the enchiladas next time (this could easily make 12-16). Never buying store bought sauce again!

My wife loved the beef enchiladas. I used another Yummly recipe for the enchiladas. They were noticeably salty however and I’m pretty sure the sauce contributed to that. Good and easy recipe.

Super easy. Had never made enchiladas before but didn’t want to use canned sauce. Turned out great. Easy to adjust spices to taste.

This sauce is EXCELLENT! I’ve never made my own enchilada sauce from scratch and what have I been thinking?! Won’t be wasting my money on canned anymore. I read reviews prior and decided to sub onion salt for onion powder and used pink Himalayan salt for iodized salt. I didn’t feel it was salty at all! I think I also added a pinch of cayenne. I let the flavors meld and cool in the fridge until ready to use. I might start canning this!
