  • 2 tablespoons honey (coconut sugar, maple syrup or regular sugar)

    This recipe did not work for me. I think that there was way too much yeast in this recipe and the bread had over-risen at each step. I used a French bread pan and my mixture overflowed the tin. The bread was done / overcooked after only 28 minutes and not easy to get out of the tin. Make sure you use the beater and not the dough hook on your stand mixer. If I were to make this again I would try to spread it across 1.5 pans (making 3 loaves) and perhaps reduce the yeast. All that said, the bread was tasty, although the kids turned their nose up at it.
