Definitely moist and sweet, but came out delicious. Mixed everything, even the cake mix in and still turned out perfect. 45 minutes gave it a finished, but moist texture. So im sure a little longer would have been more cooked, but I enjoyed it the way it was.

I used just butter instead of margarine, and added chopped pecans on top. This dessert doesn't last long in my house!

Made as directed (used a little less margarine), worked out GREAT! Cooked it 1 hour. I was wondering if I should drain the pineapple but I did not and it came out great. Thanks.

This is one of my all time favorite desserts! My Great Auntie Emma would make this for my birthday every year as a child so I feel I am qualified to say that this recipe too is a scrumptious dump cake. My Aunties recipe may have had more of the white cake on top which made it even better. So yes, highly recommend this recipe that is super easy, quick to put together and delicious!👍🏽

Great tasting used real butter for all oleo and butter needed. Made it even richer in flavor! I would make it again the same way! Maybe if put some nuts in it and almond extract
