    Tasty for sure, but needed more heat and spice for me so I added fresh chilli, garam masala and garjished with fresh coriander for a little bit more curryness

    I made this for my mum and I when I wasn’t feeling well, not only was this a great comfort dish for when I was under the weather but it was quick (20 mins or so) and flavourful, ready to be eaten when my mum was home from work. Would highly recommend, we added a dollop of natural yoghurt on top which worked perfectly. Overall very good!

    Loved this dish! so easy and simple to make and perfect for the calorie restricted diet im following at the moment. However I did feel it was missing something so added a tin of chickpeas that complimented it 👌

    Great dish! kinda done my own thing in regards to seasoning but tasted great with cauliflower rice and was super easy to make

    Made it a few times now, tried with fresh (peeled) tomatoes and with canned ones - prefer it with the canned ones. Had to cook the lentils around 30 minutes to get them well cooked (still with bite!), probably due to the acidity in the tomatoes. Cooked it on relatively high heat to reduce the liquid. All in all a great dish, it's on my weekly dinner list :)

    I followed the recipe, except I did add curry paste and bay leaves and coconut milk. It was delicious. I'm pretty sure it would have been good without the changes though.

    I didn’t have turmeric or ginger which im sure would havw made it much better :( But I made do because I was hungry and wanted something new.. this was delicious and super easy to make requiring very little prep. Its easy to make modifications to and make your own! I added roasted sweet potatoes and red pepper flakes for some spice and texture. I’ll try again following the proper recipe and continue to tweak it after I get more familiar. This is a great diverse recipe that I would be proud to serve friends and family! :)
