Description

Juicy, tender joint of gammon with a Maille® Wholegrain Mustard crust served with Maille® Dijon Mustard tossed green beans. A delightful match of tastes and textures - and cold gammon makes excellent sandwiches and salads

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram smoked gammon joint (2¼lb)
  • 1 tablespoon Maille Wholegrain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 225 grams french beans (Thin, trimmed)
  • 25 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Maille Dijon Mustard

    Directions

    1. Mix the Maille® Dijon Wholegrain Mustard and brown sugar, and press onto the exposed fat. Place in a pre-heated oven at Gas mark 6 / 400°F / 200°C for around 15 minutes, until the mustard topping has crusted onto the gammon.
    2. At the same time, cook the beans in lightly salted boiling water until just tender. Drain and toss with butter. Add Maille® Dijon Originale mustard and toss again. Serve with slices of gammon.
