  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 jar pepperoncini peppers (with juice - add as much as you like., I use ½ to ¾ of the jar)

    In my family we call this Italian beef and we serve it piled up on soft or crusty rolls with provolone or mozzarella slices. The heat from the crockpot roast melts the cheese and we serve the au jus for dipping. It can be made with less pepperoncini and brine if you're a wimp like me! ;) Great for game day, feeding a crowd, or the dog days of summertime when you want a nice cooked meal without using a stove or oven.
