This recipe is a favorite for our family and with 4 boys, this doesn't happen often! I do skip the pepper flakes and I cook the chicken for an hour or two and drain the juices before adding the sauce mixture. Love this easy and yummy recipe!

I gave this recipe 4 stars because of how easy it was. It doesn't specify the size of the bbq sauce bottle, so I used an 18 oz bottle. That was way too much. Even if you wanted a lot of extra sauce, it would be hard to use it all. I used Sweet Baby Rays sauce, and the extra ingredients didn't really add much to the flavor of the sauce. Next time, I wouldn't bother with adding extra ingredients to the sauce and just cook the chicken in the sweet baby rays.

Delicious and easy recipe to do. It’s not often I get a chance to come home to the house smelling of a good meal with my work schedule so, having the slow cooker option made it very easy. Highly recommend this.

it was delicious. the sauce was seriously amazing. might do the same thing next time but shred the chicken at the end so it can soak up the sauce
