Multiplied the recipe and it came out too watery. The “sauce” was essentially still broth. Was more like chicken teriyaki soup.

I doubled the recipe and it was still ready in four hours, which was convenient. It's appearance was disappointing, but the chicken tasked like teriyaki and it was moist, which was about all could ask for from this recipe. I also let it soak for about three hours while I was out and about before I put it in the crock pot, so that might've also allowed it to be moist.

Based on the other reviews I decided to jazz it up with some soy sauce, cumin, black pepper and paprika. It turned out reasonably well but did not look anything like the picture.

The actual look/consistency is not by far like the picture. Overall it is too sweet. My family just found it ok. I added some Asian spice mix and some sambal olek to my portion and then liked it just fine... I’d say, you just need to tinker with it a bit and it’s good.

This teriyaki chicken meal is real good. I read the passed reviews with this meal being dry. I cut up the chicken and soaked it overnight in the refrigerator. Poured into a 4 quart crockpot and cooked on low for 5 hours. Served over brown rice. Will be making this again.

Chicken turned out a little tough but had good flavor anyway.

chicken was a bit dry. while there was flavor from the crock pot overall it just was not a good tasting recipe. would recommend giving this one a pass.
