  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 3 tablespoons cornflour (/cornstarch)
  • 10 tablespoons all purpose flour (plain/)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 3 chicken breast fillets (chopped into bite-size chunks)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional - you can leave out and just sprinkle with plenty of sesame seeds at the end if you prefer)
  • 2 cloves garlic (peeled and minced)
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar (Chinese rice vinegar, will work too)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce (use more or less depending on the brand and how spicy you like it)
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • rice (Boiled)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 bunch spring onions (/scallions chopped)

    Made this today & it was so good. Only comment though, would be to add a little more soy sauce/salt, since it was a bit too sweet.

    Made this and it was fantastic. We tend to not like things super sweet so only used 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Came out perfect!

    Amazing recipe! Only adjustment was cider vinegar as I didn’t have white wine vinegar, didn’t add spring onions (didn’t have any) and doubled the recipe for my large family. It’s a winner! Will definitely make again.

    definitely something to cook again. Also, I put half the sugar and around 3/4 of the honey. if you want it to look like the picture put some more of each ingredient for the sauce.

    beautiful. I recommend adding cashew nuts and also grill the sesame seeds before sprinking over to really make the sesame flavour pop. 👍

    I made this exactly as per the recipe and instructions, i had to cook my chicken in three lots but it was worth it, it was fantastic, everyone commented on how good it was. Look forward to making this again

    Far too sweet. If I make it again I would drastically reduce the amount of sugar.

    Amazing delivery, whole family loved it, but it took me 2.5 hours to make it. I doubled the recipe and cooking the chicken took forever.

    This was incredible! Took longer than the recipe said it would because we had to fry the chicken in batches but it was well worth it. Will definitely make again and again!

    This dish was really delicious! Next time I will make double portion of sauce (as it was recommended) or maybe add some bell pepers so that rice is not too dry.

    Delicious!! Big hit with my 13 year old fussy eater. Needed to double egg and cornflour mixes for 3 chicken breasts. Doubled on sauce aswell
