with seasoned cottage cheese and chilled for at least one hour, or up to one day, before serving, topped with the fresh figs. It makes a lovely starter course for a festive dinner party.
- 5 dried figs
- 2/3 figs (fresh)
- 2 cottage cheese (light)
- cream (5 cl.)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt (to taste)
- ground black pepper (to taste)
- Soak the dried figs in a bowl with warm water.
- Rinse the fresh figs and slice carefully. Place the figs on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
- In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese with a fork. Mix in the cream and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
