I’m so glad I read these reviews first and didn’t do 12 cups of liquid!! It turned out perfect with just the 6 cups of chicken broth. It was delicious

You really have to watch the water in this recipe, the consistency expectation was far off from reality. Taste was good, needed salt

The soup was great! Next time I make it, I will add more poblanos peppers because I like things spicy and I will probably add some jalapeños. I also added brown rice to give it more consistency. The family all loved this soup!

This was yummy and creamy, but not at all spicy. I didn’t add as much liquid as was called for in the recipe to keep the soup thicker. Next time I would add more poblanos.

delicious! left out the water as it didn't appear in the directions. im guessing it was instead of the broth. i served it over rice just to give it a little more substance.

Mine looked nothing like the pic. It seemed very watery, even though I only used 4 cups of the 6 cups of water. Trying to whisk in the cheeses really tore up the chicken into strands. If I make this again I think I would leave out the water all together and whisk in the cheeses before adding chicken.
