This is the ONLY way I'll EVER cook pork chops FOREVER. But, careful. The front page list of ingredients says One Cup of Sea Salt. However, the actual recipe on the blog says HALF a cup!! I put in a whole cup, so now I have to double everything else to thin out all that salt! And I am only brining two chops! But this will make the most plump and juicy pork chops or steaks or loin chops you ever bit into.

I've used this recipe twice now on thick cut pork chops. I will now ALWAYS brine my pork. Today I am doing a pork loin roast in the slow cooker and I'm going to use this recipe for the brine. This time I'll actually have all the ingredients! (I didn't have any paprika previously or enough sea salt, and I also added some apple cider juice) Still, then, it made the pork so juicy and plump. One day I'll brine a beer can chicken, and report back.
