    Love it, even with veggie chunks to substitute the chicken. Added a bit more of the veg and added leek the second time. Winner at the dinner table!

    I found the stew to be somewhat bland. I did not use fresh rosemary & thyme, so perhaps that would make a difference. After taste test, I added seasoned salt and more herbs. Other adjustments I made; I did not use sweet potatoes, I used (because had available) red potatoes. I did not have green beans on hand but did add 1/2 can of corn. Overall, family liked it and said they would want me to make it again.

    Several modifications for me, but it was very good! I added additional chicken (12 thighs total). I also omitted the sweet potatoes and used 3 cups of russets instead. All other ingredients were pretty much in alignment to the recipe. I used my pressure cooker to brown the meat, soften the veggies and form the rue, then pressure cooked for 30 minutes. I added the cream and thawed peas at the end and adjusted the seasoning. Didn’t have a need to cook any further, or use slurries to thicken.

    The sweet potatoes add a really subtle, delicious sweetness to the stew. The wine comes through nicely as well. Have made it three times now and it always come out tasty. My family loves it and we have some picky eaters!

    This is delicious! Left out the red pepper, but kept everything else the same. Served with warm rolls to soak up the “gravy”

    Pretty good... I added gaic and mushrooms, but let it simmer to long, so the veggies were a bit soft... it has a .ild flavor, but it certainly is good on a cold day.

    Second time I have made it, and didn't remember that it only takes about 15 minutes for everything to be well cooked. But it still turned out well, except that I didn't put enough salt in again. The potatoes really suck it out! Family enjoyed it, I will just remember those things next time. A really hearty stew.

    Had to use about a tablespoon more flour than in the recipe stated to get my preferred thickness, but otherwise it turned out delicious! Will make again in the future for sure

    I made this tonight as Chicken Stew is one of my daughter-in-law's fav dishes. I chose this recipe as it looked good and I liked the reviews I read. I followed the recipe exactly to the tee. It was delicious and my son and daughter-in-law loved it. I also served it with bread and a salad. Very satisfying and perfect for this cold day in MI. I wouldn't change any thing. I did have to thicken it with cornstarch at the very end but that was it. Thanks for a fantastic meal!

    Loved it! Super easy and faster than I was expecting, I chopped things up small so they would cook faster. I really liked the sweet potatoes

    Just OK, my husband didn’t care for it either. I must say I did make it in the crockpot which could be the problem. Very watery even after I tried to thicken. I’ll look for a recipe specific to a slow cooker.

    Very good! Definitely not a week night meal. It’s takes quite a bit of time. Easy fed 6 adults and two children. Everyone liked the meal. Will definitely make again.

    Delicious!!! I went heavy on the veggie portions. I just added an extra tablespoon of flour to help thicken the stew instead of doing the whole roux/slurry thing.
