Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 0.25 kilograms green tomatoes
  • 4 chile peppers (cascabel, washed, stemmed, and rough chopped, reserve the seeds)
  • 1 garlic clove (peeled and minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

    Directions

    1. Add the oil to a skillet on medium heat. Add the tomatoes and saute for about 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
    2. Add the chile pepper to the skillet and saute for about 5 minutes. Add the seeds and saute for another 2 minutes.
    3. Add the peppers, tomatoes, garlic, seeds, and vinegar to a blender. Puree until smooth.
